New Fabric in the Etsy Shop.......at long last

After a very long blogging holiday I have finally managed minutes to sit down and write a post. I do hope to post again more regularly but family time is keeping me very busy at the moment.

I have for some time been meaning to get this upholstery weight fabric available to sell online, its been for sale in the bricks and mortar shop for several months now and has been selling well.

In the future I hope to have more of my designs printed onto this lovely cotton satin but that will have to wait a few months until I have some spare time to achieve that aim! In the meantime, if you are interested you can buy these two designs by the 1/2 metre from the Phatsheep Fabrics Etsy Shop.

I think this fabric would be fantastic for curtains or blinds in a kids bedroom, or a bright sunny kitchen.

Remember Clothkits....

Any of you 70's/80's children remember Clothkits? I can remember the girls dresses but I especially remember the cloth dolls. I was searching through google for something or other and was super excited when I came across the Clothkits website. Go and have a look they have some great skirts, I might just have to go and buy the skirt kit designed by Rob Ryan, click here to see it (I would post pics but I'm bit scared by the copyright/using pics off peoples website thing).

I've also been buy working on some new product designs:

I'm really pleased how the grey shoulder bag has turned out, still a little bit of the Croft house pattern fabric featured but quite subtle. I'm thinking the Fair Isle Jumper fabric pouch would make a great make-up bag

News Update

Ooops another long time between posts, hope everybody had a lovely Easter, its been busy here again but thats no excuse!

I've been busy working on some new bag and purse designs:

Linen Coin Purse made with some lovely new linen I've managed to buy and some Fabric Scraps, I like the shape and wil try it again with some PhatSheep Fabric soon.

Completely new bag design again using the new linen and some cute Alexander Henry Fabric I bought from America, I've put this for sale in the Etsy shop, was very tempted to keep it for myself though:)

New shape and size of Linen tote with PhatSheep Fair Isle Jumper Print Fabric panel, the bag is squarer than the previous shopper bag design with longer handles and an inside pocket to fit a mobile phone. I've put this one up in the Etsy shop today and I'll be making more of them in both this Fair Isle Jumper design and the Croft design over the next few weeks.

Also I've been playing around on the sewing machine and these are some of the new applique designs I've been experimenting with:

For a pencil case

Mug of Tea

Boat

Seagull and Oyster Catcher

Thats all for just now but I promise I won't leave it a month before I post again!
