Sunny Summer Days

If anybody is still reading this blog you have probably been wondering what I've been doing for the past month!

I've had some time out from blogging and been spending minimal time in the workshop so I could enjoy the sunny outdoors with my family.

These pics are snapshot of where we've been and what we've seen around Shetland.

This past month has reminded me again how lucky I am to live in a place where you can be the only people on a beautiful beach on a sunny day but also surrounded by lots of familiar friendly faces at any of the many social activities that happen here at this time of year.

Scotland seems lovely. I've only been a night in Edinburgh, and I wished I could've traveled the entire countryside!

Enjoy the good weather whilst you have it. Summer flies by so fast.

Families grow and change too quickly and it's good to have time together. Make the best of every opportunity.

We've visited the Hebrides loads (Mull and Tiree mostly) and have yet to get to the Shetlands. You live in a beautiful corner of the world and I think you're right to enjoy it.

Enjoy your time...Don't rush back just because of us :)

For all the rain we get in Scotland and the Isles, isn't it wonderful to be somewhere so beautiful when the sun does shine. Looks great. We went over to Ireland this year and had some wonderful weather. Very similar coast to ours and great music every where of course...and guiness!

What fab pics to look at as I sit under a Velux window listening to the 5th day of continuous rain. Hope you had a lovely summer :o)
