New Fabric in the Etsy Shop.......at long last

After a very long blogging holiday I have finally managed minutes to sit down and write a post. I do hope to post again more regularly but family time is keeping me very busy at the moment.

I have for some time been meaning to get this upholstery weight fabric available to sell online, its been for sale in the bricks and mortar shop for several months now and has been selling well.

In the future I hope to have more of my designs printed onto this lovely cotton satin but that will have to wait a few months until I have some spare time to achieve that aim! In the meantime, if you are interested you can buy these two designs by the 1/2 metre from the Phatsheep Fabrics Etsy Shop.

I think this fabric would be fantastic for curtains or blinds in a kids bedroom, or a bright sunny kitchen.

Yes I'm still here!

If any of you are still reading this blog, thank you and a big sorry for being so slow at posting.

What have I been doing? well I have been busy :)

The shop has been very busy over the summer months and manning the counter and keeping the shop well stocked has kept me busy but lately this little man has kept me very busy:

Alfie was born early September and not much crafting, sewing or designing has been done since. However today I have managed to update my Etsy fabric shop with the full range of PhatSheep Fabrics.

Those of you in the UK and especially Scotland will be able to purchase Phatsheep products and fabric packs at the Country Living Fair Scotland 19-22nd November at the SECC.

I will be exhibiting as part of the textile collective I am a member of, we call ourselves Text-Isles, we are a group of Shetland based textile designers who sometimes work together and collaborate on projects. To find out more about us all have a look at our lovely new website Text-Isles.

Unfortunately I am not going to be at the Country Living Fair - I didn't think I'd be much good at sales and stand preperation with a tiny baby strapped to my front! but please go and say hello to the other Text-Isles girls, we are on stand G35.

Way to long between posts again.....

Oops where has time gone!? again its been far to long between blogging posts.

I have some exciting news, my partner and have signed the lease on a property on our local high street, we got the keys last week.... we are going to open our own little gallery and shop!!!! very exciting and a bit scary, seems like a very grown up thing to do.
During the last month there has been a lot of planning and now we've got the keys its re-decoration time, with all family members helping to fix up the property ready for our proposed opening in a few weeks time.
We've started a little blog about the gallery and shop, which we're going to call North Rock Gallery, you can check it our here.

So apologies if I've been a very absent blogger but I have been busy!

Also there are more fabrics listed in the Etsy shop and some more to follow shortly.

Lastly Happy Easter everyone :)

New Edition of Sew Hip Mag features PhatSheep Interview!

Wow, this is a big bit exciting and a little bit scary!

I was interviewed by Kerrie Allman a month or so ago and had kind of fogotten about it, but when I got the new edition of Sew Hip magazine there was my interview and huge pic pic of me and the boy! Good grief it's a bit scary to see such a big pic (or any pic for that matter) of yourself in print in a proper posh mag that people pay money for! I hope that what I have to say is a bit interesting to people!? Anyway there are lots of other great patterns and articles in the magazine too.
Oh and there is a whole lot more fabrics listed in the Etsy shop now, go check them out!
