Successful Christmas Craft Fair

I had a stall at our local Arts and Craft Association Craft fair this weekend. Its the biggest Craft Fair here in Shetland, and happens annually in November when the main hall of our Local Leisure Centre is transformed into a room filled with crafters and their fantastic products. I was sharing a stand (as always) with my partner and his photography, and we had another successful year. Its a great place to showcase new work and my Festive prints seemed to go down well with customers which I was really pleased about.

The main challenge for the weekend was not to spend all my earnings on goodies from other makers stalls! I managed to stop at only buying two things, some lovely red felt Christmas tree decorations from Donna Smith Designs and a gorgeous sheepskin rug from Shetland Sheepskins ( sorry they don't seem to have a website so I can't link to them). The decorations are packed away safely awaiting tree delivery in December and the rug is now pride of place on the living room floor where our older son has decided it is a snowy mountain for his duplo diggers to excavate.......
